Community Development and Education

Educational Assistance Program (EAP)

More than offering a child educational subsidy, the EAP encompasses the spiritual development of children and their parents through character and values formation.

Adopt-a-School Program (AASP)

In support of the Department of Education, this program allows Alay Buhay to sponsor educational materials of grade school students from disadvantaged communities especially in provinces.

Community Empowerment Program

Moving towards an integrated and participatory approach in providing assistance, Alay Buhay has initiated its Community Development Program to serve and contribute to the empowerment of both rural and urban communities.
Enterprise Development /Microfinance:

A saving and lending mechanism that promotes an appreciation for preparing for the future by providing various financial services such credit, savings and microfinance that provide growth opportunities for the entrepreneurial poor.

Capability-Building and Organizational Development :
As a result of needs analysis, community partners are assisted further in enhancing their skills in organizational leadership, business development and management, among others.
