Alay Buhay Celebrates 20th Anniversary
This coming February 24-25, 2007, Alay Buhay Community Development Foundation, Inc. (ALAY BUHAY) will hold its 2007 General Assembly in time for the celebration of its 20th Anniversary. Participating in the affair will be Alay Buhay Members, Trustees and Community Leaders representing the various programs. Alay Buhay's co-Founder and Chairman Emeritus, Mr. Stephen Tindall of the Tindall Foundation and Mr. Neil Barr, Trustee of Livelihood International (formerly Alay Buhay New Zealand Trust) will be joining the 2-day celebration.
Highlights of the celebration include training activities on organic farming, utilization and commercial viability of medicinal and other organic products and micro-enterprise development, team building activities, a fellowship and cultural night for Day 1, and the General Assembly with a Eucharistic Celebration to be officiated by Fr. Jong Teman, SVD will be held on the morning of February 25, 2007. A mini-trade fair featuring products coming from project partners from Microfinance, Education and Comdev Program will also be showcased during activity.
The venue for the celebration will be at the Pranjetto Hills and Conference Center in Tanay, Rizal. |
